MAKING TOMORROW BETTER THAN YESTERDAY
When change isn’t about trying harder
Updating learned nervous system responses
Most difficulties don’t exist because something is wrong.
They persist because the nervous system is running learned patterns that once made sense — and no longer do.
Anxiety, habits, emotional eating, and identity shifts aren’t separate problems.
They’re different expressions of the same underlying process: learned responses that continue automatically, especially during periods of stress, uncertainty, or change.
My work focuses on helping the nervous system update those patterns — not through control, coping, or force, but by creating the conditions where change can settle naturally.
What was learned can be unlearned.

Ways I Help
Focused on retraining learned patterns — not managing symptoms

Why This Approach Works
Why This Approach Works
Lasting change happens when learned responses are updated — not managed.
Most people aren’t “broken”. Their mind have learned patterns that once served a purpose, and now run automatically. Anxiety, habits, emotional eating and confidence blocks are often predictable, learned responses — reinforced over time without conscious choice. My work focuses on retraining those learned patterns at the level they were originally created, so calm, control and progress become your new normal.
1) What’s really happening
Anxiety, habits and emotional eating are often learned responses that once served a purpose — until they didn’t.
2) What we do instead
We retrain the pattern at the source, so your mind no longer needs the old response.
3) What this creates
More calm, more control, and a change that holds — without constant effort.
Most people don’t struggle because something is wrong with them.
They struggle because their mind has learned patterns that once served a purpose — and no longer do.
Anxiety, habits, emotional eating, confidence issues, and identity shifts aren’t random problems.
They are predictable responses — learned over time and reinforced automatically, without conscious choice.
My work focuses on retraining those learned patterns at the level they were created.
Not by teaching coping strategies or managing symptoms — but by working with the subconscious processes that drive behaviour, emotion, and automatic response.
At The Pathway Therapy Rooms, I work one-on-one with adults, children, and teenagers who are ready for genuine, lasting change — whether that involves resolving anxiety, breaking unhelpful habits, improving their relationship with food, or navigating major life transitions.
When working with children and teenagers, the approach is always age-appropriate, gentle, and supportive.
Sessions are designed to help young minds understand and release learned responses — not to analyse, label, or relive distress.
Parents are guided throughout the process, and work is paced carefully to ensure the child or teen feels safe, understood, and in control at every stage.
My work focuses on retraining those learned patterns at the level they were originally created.
WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS SAY
Clients consistently praise The Pathway Therapy Rooms, Glen’s calming presence, tailored approach, and life-changing results. Across online platforms, reviews highlight hypnotherapy sessions' supportive, professional atmosphere and lasting impact.
I went to Glen for help with stress and anxiety, and after a course of hypnotherapy sessions, I can honestly say that I'm feeling 100 x better in myself. Glen creates such a calming atmosphere and makes you feel completely at ease. At the end of each session, I came away feeling confident and refreshed. Glen also taught me techniques to cope with stress, which have been really useful too. I would highly recommend Glen and his services to anyone.

This was a new experience for me. However, Glen was able to put me at ease and talk me through the whole process. I mentioned my stress and anxiety can sometimes be an issue, and with help, Glen took me through the process. I found it very relaxing and beneficial both during the appointment and once completed. My mind was much clearer and calmer, and with the techniques he advised I practised outside of sessions, along with what I had learned about myself, I was able to put myself in a much better place.
- Darren Fellingham
I approached hypnotherapy with some trepidation, not least that Glen and I are good friends. I need not have worried as the whole experience was most rewarding, with Glen maintaining a calm and professional approach to the whole journey. The strategies that Glen provided for me to tackle my lack of confidence in my golf have worked beautifully and helped me to enjoy my hobby once again. I would recommend therapy with Glen to anyone.
Glen is simply amazing at what he does and has really helped me with my grief that has been with me for the past 12 months. The whole process from start to finish was great. I feel so much better now and feel confident I will continue to stay on this path.
Thanks again for your help.
I highly recommend!

Glen really helped my daughter with her fears and worries that were starting to affect her daily. She was reluctant to see Glen at first but he put her at ease and worked through everything in a calm and measured way. She's been so much better these last few months, with a different outlook on life. Really pleased!
